I do not profess to be an expert on Islam nor am I totally in the darkness with it. However their are a couple of things about it that I find curious. The first is that Islam claims they are not actually a different religion from Allah's previous revelations to men but rather a continuation of Allah's revelations from the days of Abraham. On one hand they legitimize previous prophets then on the other hand they will persecute the followers of Jesus. So does Islam actually believe that Allah would order a later day messenger to oppress and put down a more previous obedient messenger of Allah? Is Allah against Allah?
It is said in all Islam that Jesus is held to be a good prophet. Yet this good prophet said he was the Son of Allah. Does Islam say this is not so? Does Islam say that a good prophet lies? Does a good prophet of Islam lie? How can you believe anything they say? Does Islam say that Allah would make Mohammed higher than his own son? I say this with the caveat that it depends on which muslim you're talking to and under what circumstances.
I explore this concept because people from all over the world visit this website and some of these countries are Muslim and if you are a believer in Jesus and you live in one of these countries this is something you may want to consider. It is something I've been thinking about.
As you probably know I'm a Messian and I don't call my self a Christian even though I believe totally in Jesus and the reason why is that a Christian in the traditional way is actually a Pauline, who is a believer in the Apostle Paul. Paul actually did blaspheme God in his writings but a typical Christian doesn't see this until it is pointed out then unfortunately many go into denial.
So let's work toward my point. Let's put these religions in a spectrum of similarity shall we. Let's put Christianity (Pauline) on one side then Messianism in the middle and Islam on the other side. Messianism and Islam do have some important similarities such as a complete rejection of homosexuality and a zeal for God's laws instead of the passive disregard for such law's common among western Christians which is a hot point in Christian persecution in some countries besides the consideration of perversion found in the popular western media.
More such similarities can be found in views of the afterlife in paradise. Even the Morningstar, who is female, chose to wear a veil over her face. A significant difference is Prophet and this difference is significant. Messian is Jesus and Islam is Mohammed.
Of course I have not failed to notice how the Muslims have taken to depriving people of their heads. Naturally I being a student of psychology I know what this means. The Muslims feel vulnerable and they believe that by taking heads this will make them right. Which is something that will never be. All said in the reality to wit that if their was no compulsory conversion then their would be no Islam. Allah does not want those that do not want him. A Fifth column movement destroys from within.
My main point is this. If you're a believer in Jesus and you live in a Muslim country with its obligatory persecutions you would appear to be safer to be a Messian and to refuse to use the Christian handle to describe yourself. Your worst possible choice in Christian faith is Catholicism because it will make you the focal point of persecution and God doesn't hear the cries of Paulines.
I've taken some risks in my day and have seen some impressive signs to get me through them but a quick intra-net search and you'll see Paulines in persecution in a lot of places and the air full of prayers but to no avail. Stay safe. Be Messian.
Their is only Jesus. Their is no other.
